With all the bad press coming from national news outlets this year, what is happening in McKinney’s real estate market as a result? What should one do? Who to believe? Depending upon your own financial situation this could either be a time to hold firm or jump into the market with both feet. An increased percentage of homes that are currently for sale are forclosures and this has in fact pressured sales prices downward. But are foreclosures a good buy? The latest sales figures for February shows 12% decline in sales, 2% INCREASE in price and a 22% increase with regards to days on market.
